Visitors planning a trip to the Kennedy Space Center area on November 7–8 can now check NASA’s schedule for the MAX POWER aerospace event. The agency says public gates open at 9 a.m. Eastern Standard Time on both days, with aircraft displays, astronaut appearances and space-programme sessions on the agenda.

NASA’s October 30 announcement describes activities spread across several locations, including the air-show and summit areas, the visitor complex and the agency’s press site. A listing in the media programme should not be treated as a promise that every location is open to every visitor.

NASA’s visitor page says tickets are required for each of the three park experiences, with separate ticketing for Air Dot Show, UP.Summit and Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex. Visitors should choose the parks they intend to enter and use the official event page to reach the appropriate ticket and access information.

The published timetable includes a Friday afternoon media preview, followed by the November 7–8 weekend programme. The Moon Base news conference is a scheduled briefing; its listing does not itself announce that a new lunar facility has been built.

For Sunday, NASA lists an X-59 media session and a student-challenge announcement. These are planned programme items. Visitors should recheck official event information before leaving, as NASA explicitly says times may change.

First TRACERS results begin separating where magnetic reconnection changes from when it changes

The first paper examines paired spacecraft encounters with Earth’s magnetic cusp from November 2025 through February 2026. Its analysis finds spatial variability dominates by at least a factor of two across the solar-wind conditions studied, while many encounters also contain time variability. NASA says the prime mission has been extended through spring 2027. These are preliminary research results, not a new operational storm-warning service.
